The concept for the Comm Ave Charity Classic began in late 2014 when former Boston College captain Pat Mullane was inspired by BC’s own sports information director, Dick Kelley, and his notable fight against ALS. Like many student-athletes at Boston College, Mullane was fortunate to develop a great friendship with Dick, who served as mentor, role model and most importantly, a friend to everyone he met.

Kelley lost his battle with ALS in Feb. 2014.

Tickets are on sale and can be purchased through Ticketmaster or at the Agganis Arena Box Office (10 a.m. -5 p.m. Monday through Friday).
