Alaska’s Morley, Alabama-Huntsville’s Saulnier each get one-game bans from WCHA

The WCHA on Saturday announced one-game suspensions for Alaska senior forward Tyler Morley and Alabama-Huntsville sophomore forward Brennan Saulnier.

Morley’s suspension is a result of a play at the 3:13 mark of the third period of Alaska’s game Friday, Oct. 30, at Minnesota State, in which Morley made a blindside hit with contact to the head of a Mavericks’ player.

Saulnier’s discipline comes as the result of a play just under the four-minute mark of the third period of Huntsville’s game Friday, Oct. 30, at Lake Superior State, in which Saulnier made a contact hit to the head of a Lakers’ player.

Morley is eligible to return for the Nanooks’ Friday, Nov. 6, home contest against Northern Michigan, while Saulnier can return for the UAH contest on Friday, Nov. 6, at home versus Michigan Tech.
