  1. I have actually watched MSU play at home and they can be
pretty strong trying to defend their house. I’ve also seen UMD in the past few
years have a hard time sweeping when away. I think a split should be called on
this one. I think MSU might be able to at least take them into OT if they keep
    playing tough like they have.

I do like how Minnesota is looking this year although, they
haven’t really been tested yet. A part of me wants a split just so both teams
can get stronger by working on their flaws, but this is hard to accomplish when
    Noora is on net.

Clarkson and Mercyhurst are on my to watch list. I want to
see what USCHO coaches are seeing on the Knights to make this team #5 in the
    nation. It should be interesting.

The rush is in the air here at Hockey East. A long overdue
rematch is finally happening this weekend. Big expectations for BU to defend
the house and Hockey East honor. Games like this are the ones BU come out full speed,
but I also expect Cornell to do the same. The Terriers are advertising this
series quite a bit to fill up the seats, so I expect them to put up a show as
they usually do when the crowd is good. A must watch game for sure!

  3. I’m surprised you didn’t pick the big RIT-Yale tilt at Rochester’s downtown arena. It’s the first time the ladies have played there, and it’s part of a big doubleheader homecoming weekend at RIT.

  7. I’d say you are underestimating MSU…a shoot out victory on Friday and a shutout on Saturday…the Mavericks are certainly making waves. Wouldn’t be surprised if they continue to stay strong in the WCHA. Also, Minnesota is completely routing their opponents…might wanna add some more pts to your next picks for the Gophers.
