Northeastern women’s hockey associate head coach Jeff Pellegrini is leaving the program to become the head coach of the boys U15 team at Shattuck-St. Mary’s prep school in Minnesota.

Pellegrini joined the Northeastern staff as an assistant coach in Aug. 2012 and was promoted to associate head coach in April 2014. During his tenure on staff with head coach Dave Flint, the Huskies captured the 2013 Beanpot title, the 2018 Hockey East championship, and made the program’s first two NCAA tournament appearances in 2016 and 2018.

Prior to his time at Northeastern, Pellegrini served as an assistant coach at Harvard and spent time coaching on the men’s side at Nichols, UMass Boston and Bowdoin.

Pellegrini is a graduate and hockey alumnus of UMass Boston.
