Former Boston University goalie Max Prawdzik will play the 2019-20 season at Arizona State as a graduate transfer.

Prawdzik appeared in three games for BU in 2018-19, posting a 2.59 GAA and a .889 save percentage in his three appearances.

For the 2016-17 season, Prawdzik spent the fall semester with BU before finishing the season with the NAHL’s Lone Star Brahmas, winning a Robertson Cup championship.

“Max comes to us from BU where there just wasn’t a ton of opportunity for him playing behind a first-round NHL pick (Jake Oettinger),” said ASU coach Greg Powers in a statement. “Max is hungry and excited for the opportunity to be a grad transfer here. Anywhere Max has played and been given opportunity, he has won (prep and NAHL), so we are excited about that and believe he will really help round out our goaltending position.”
