Selection show: Sunday, March 5, 8:30 p.m. ET, NCAA.com

First round: Campus sites, March 8

Quarterfinals: Campus sites, March 11.

Semifinals, finals: At Amherst, Mass., March 17 and 19.

Qualifying teams: 11.

Format: Winners of three first-round games join five teams chosen for the quarterfinals. All rounds are single elimination.

Automatic qualifiers:

Pool A: Postseason tournament champions from CCC, MIAC, NEHC, NESCAC, NEWHL, NCHA and UCHC

Pool B: One team selected from independent institutions and institutions that are members of conferences that do not
meet the requirements for automatic qualification

Pool C: Three institutions from automatic-qualifying conferences that are not their conference champions, and the remaining teams not in automatic-qualifying conferences
