Freshman Liz Reed scored twice, including a power-play goal, to lead Vermont past ECAC Division III League foe Colby 4-0, snapping a four-game losing streak.<\/p>\n
“We played extremely well this afternoon,” said head coach Dennis Miller. “I am very pleased with the team’s effort and I hope we can continue to build upon this tomorrow against Bowdoin and for the rest of the season.”<\/p>\n
The Catamounts, who scored a goal in each period, also got a goal from senior Maike Camp, while freshman and Stowe, Vt., native Lindsay Neilson assisted on all three Catamount goals.<\/p>\n
