Frank Slubowski stopped 32 shots for his fourth shutout of the season, and No. 6 Western Michigan took over first place in the CCHA with a 2-0 victory Friday over No. 3 Miami.<\/p>\n

Jordan Oesterle and Chase Balisy scored for the Broncos (18-6-5, 14-4-3-1 CCHA), who held the RedHawks (17-7-5, 12-5-4-4) scoreless on five power-play attempts.<\/p>\n

Twelve of Miami’s shots on goal came on those man advantages, but Slubowski turned them away for his seventh collegiate shutout.<\/p>\n
