Troy Loggins scored at 15:53 of overtime to send host Northern Michigan to the WCHA championship game.<\/p>\n

Twice, Northern Michigan took a one-goal lead, only to see Bowling Green tie the game. Zach Diamantoni put the Wildcats up 1-0 with a goal at 18:55.<\/p>\n

However, Max Johnson scored on a power play just 52 seconds into the second to seize the momentum back.<\/p>\n

Joseph Nardi scored at the 10-minute mark of the third period, and it looked like that would prove the game-winner, but with just eight seconds left in the game — and Bowling Green goalie Ryan Bednard pulled — Cameron Wright scored to force the extra session.<\/p>\n
