A shorthanded goal was all Sacred Heart needed as it skated by Army, 1-0, Saturday evening at the Milford Ice Pavilion.

Sacred Heart (4-3-1, 4-2-1 MAAC) opened the scoring in the first period when junior winger Martin Paquet scored on a breakaway during an Army 5-on-3 power play. That goal turned out to be the only one of the game.

Army freshman goalie John Yaros was marvelous in net, playing on back-to-back nights for the first time this season. Yaros made 26 saves, keeping the Black Knights close all game.
