That goal turned out to be the only one of the game.<\/p>\n<p>Army freshman goalie John Yaros was marvelous in net, playing on back-to-back nights for the first time this season. Yaros made 26 saves, keeping the Black Knights close all game.<\/p>\n<p>Pioneers goalie Kevin LaPointe recorded his first career shutout in his second college game, making 27 saves between the pipes.<\/p>\n<p>The last time the Black Knights were shut out was Jan. 6, 2001 at the Milford Ice Pavilion against Sacred Heart.<\/p>\n<p>Army (3-8-0, 1-6-0) will return to action Friday when it travels to Connecticut for another league contest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A shorthanded goal was all Sacred Heart needed as it skated by Army, 1-0, Saturday evening at the Milford Ice Pavilion.
