Boston College got two goals from Logan Hutsko and 38 saves from Jospeh Woll to earn a road victory over arch-rival Boston University on Friday (photo: BC Athletics).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Boston College’s Logan Hutsko scored twice as the Eagles netted the final four goals of the game to defeat arch-rival Boston University, 4-1, in the opening game of a home-and-home series in the Battle of Commonwealth Ave.<\/p>\n

Chad Krys gave the host Terriers the lead with a power play tally in the first. But from there the scoresheet was dominated by the Eagles.<\/p>\n

Hutsko tallied twice in the second to give the Eagles the 2-1 advantage before Christopher Brown and Marc McLaughlin finished off the scoring in the third.<\/p>\n

BC goaltender Joe Woll was stellar in net, making numerous high-end saves and stopping 38 of BU’s 39 shots.<\/p>\n

Dartmouth 3, No. 16 Cornell 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dartmouth’s Cam Strong scored at 9:29 of the third period to break a 2-2 tie as the Big Green upset No. 16 Cornell, 3-2, in ECAC action.<\/p>\n

Adrian Clark made 38 saves in net for Dartmouth.<\/p>\n

The win was the 309th victory for head coach Bob Gaudet at Dartmouth, allowing him to pass legendary coach Eddie Jeremiah as the winningest coach in Dartmouth history.<\/p>\n
