Zink’s shootout goal gives UMass-Lowell title at Friendship Four

BELFAST, Northern Ireland — Dylan Zink scored the only goal in a shootout, giving No. 4 UMass-Lowell the title of the inaugural Friendship Four after a 5-5 tie with Brown on Saturday.

The River Hawks (10-1-4) scored in the final minute to force overtime for the second straight game. C.J. Smith tied the game at 5-5 with 39 seconds remaining; it was his second goal of the game.

Tommy Marchin scored and added two assists for the Bears (2-4-3).
