De Laurell notches three points as Air Force downs RIT

Kyle De Laurell posted two goals and an assist, and Air Force maintained a five-point lead for second place in Atlantic Hockey with a 5-3 victory over Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday.

Adam McKenzie, Casey Kleisinger and Tony Thomas added goals for the Falcons (15-10-7, 13-6-5 Atlantic Hockey), who can clinch second place by completing the road sweep of the Tigers (12-14-5, 10-10-4) on Saturday.

Matt Garbowsky scored twice and Anthony Hamburg added a goal for RIT.

Jason Torf stopped 21 shots for the Falcons; Jordan Ruby made 30 saves for the Tigers.
