BOSTON — Led by a balanced offensive attack that included two goals by star forward Haley Skarupa, and an assist to goaltender Corinne Boyles, who made 24 saves, Boston College beat arch-rival Boston University in the second semifinal of the Beanpot on Tuesday. The Eagles will take on Northeastern in a rematch of last year’s title game

Taylor Wasylk got the Eagles on the board at 6:27 of the first with a short-handed goal, and then the power play went to work, as Emily Field and Skarupa each got power-play tallies in the first to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead. Sarah Lefort got one back for the Terriers in the second, but Boyles clamped down, and Skarupa added an empty-net tally at 17:47 of the third to seal the win.
