ASHWAUBENON, Wis. — Ross Pavek’s short-handed goal broke a third-period tie for No. 1 St. Norbert, which beat No. 2 Adrian 2-1 on Saturday.

The teams split a two-game series of the top two teams in the USCHO.com Division III Men’s Poll.

T.J. Black made 31 saves for the Green Knights (14-2-1, 10-2 NCHA), who got a first-period goal from Michael Hill.

Daniel Lisi tied the game in the second period for the Bulldogs (15-2-1, 11-2-1).

Adrian’s Tyler Parks stopped 13 shots.
