Location, dates:
- Selection show: Sunday, March 8, TBA, NCAA.com
- First round: Campus sites, March 14
- Quarterfinals: Campus sites, March 21.
- Semifinals, finals: Campus site of one of the participating teams, March 27 and 29.
Qualifying teams: 12.
Format: Winners of four first-round games join four teams chosen for the quarterfinals. All rounds are single elimination.
Automatic qualifiers: Eight postseason tournament champions — from CNE, MAC, MIAC, NEHC, NESCAC, NCHA, SUNYAC and UCHC.
