Connecticut goalie Huska leaves after three seasons, signs NHL deal with Rangers

The New York Rangers have signed UConn goaltender Adam Huska to an entry-level contract.

Huska appeared in 69 games over three seasons with the Huskies, posting a 20-38-8 record, along with a 2.90 GAA, a .908 save percentage, and two shutouts.

Originally selected by the Rangers in the seventh round (184th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Huska will remain in Connecticut as he heads across the hall at the XL Center to play with New York’s AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack.
