The odd tidbit of the week is that No. 7 North Dakota has yet to win a shootout in the three years since the WCHA brought it into league play. The latest toe stub came this weekend against No. 9 Ohio State, in what was otherwise a fine weekend for the Sioux.

It could have been a long weekend for No. 2 Cornell, what with key cogs Rebecca Johnston and Brianne Jenner taking leave to join Team Canada at Four Nations. However, the Big Red got big production from the remaining cast in wins over No. 10 Harvard and Dartmouth.
