CCHA suspends Alaska’s Henderson, Notre Dame’s Sheahan one game apiece

The CCHA announced Thursday that Alaska forward Adam Henderson and Notre Dame forward Riley Sheahan have each been suspended one game under the league’s supplemental discipline process.

Henderson has been suspended as the result of an incident that occurred against Ferris State on Jan. 14, while Sheahan was suspended for an incident that occurred against Western Michigan on Jan. 13.

Both suspensions were over illegal hits to the head of opposing players.

Henderson and Sheahan are ineligible to play in their team’s games Friday night (Jan. 20), but are eligible to skate in Saturday night’s games.
