Minnesota gets all 15 first-place votes, stays atop D-I women’s poll

Minnesota continues its reign atop the USCHO.com Division I Women’s Poll as the Gophers earned all 15 first-place votes in Monday’s rankings.

Minnesota has held the top spot the entire 2013-14 season.

Cornell jumps three spots to No. 2, while Wisconsin falls one to No. 3, Clarkson drops one to No. 4 and Boston College the same in falling to No. 5.

Harvard remains sixth, Mercyhurst is up one to No. 7, as is North Dakota to No. 8, while Boston University re-enters the rankings at No. 9 and Quinnipiac falls three places to sit No. 10 this week.

Robert Morris, Minnesota-Duluth and RIT also received votes.

The USCHO.com Division I Women’s Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 15 voters, including 14 coaches of Division I programs and one women’s hockey writer.
