    • Extremely hard to repeat. We have a killer non-conference schedule to start, at Notre Dame, two weeks later go to Boston to play BU and BC. Having good players makes any coach “great”, but Montgomery has certainly exceeded our wildest expectations. Players really love playing for him, and bought into his game plan. Once Montgomery withdrew from consideration for Kings and Panthers head coaching job, all the key players (Borgstrom, Terry, Gambrell, Lukosevicius) committed to coming back. The feeling at DU was if Montgomery left, so would some of them.
