It’s hard to believe we are down to the last two weekends of the season. The NCAA tournament starts this weekend! Last weekend, Nicole and I struggled a little bit, as I went 5-2 (.714) and Nicole was 3-4 (.428). On the year, I am now 340-117-63 (.714), while Nicole is 314-143-63 (.664)

Saturday, March 16

Syracuse at No. 1 Wisconsin
Candace: Syracuse did well to advance to the NCAA tournament by winning the CHA tournament and its autobid. Their season ends here though. Wisconsin 5-0
Nicole: This one should be all Badgers. I’ll take them to win. Wisconsin 4-1

No. 7 Princeton at No. 2 Minnesota
Candace: Princeton has struggled down the stretch. Its loss to Wisconsin last weekend aside, Minnesota has looked very good. Minnesota 4-1
Nicole: I think will be closer than the Gophers would like, but they win. Minnesota 3-1

No. 6 Cornell at No. 3 Northeastern
Candace: I think Northeastern’s offense is better the Cornell’s defense, and the Northeastern’s defense is up to the challenge of Cornell’s offense. Northeastern 4-2
Nicole: I’m going with the firepower of the Huskies to take this one. Northeastern 4-2

No. 5 Boston College at No. 4 Clarkson
Candace: Which BC team shows up? The Eagles are terrible on the road regardless, so I think their season ends here. Clarkson 4-2
Nicole: This is a toss-up for me, so I’ll go for the slight upset with Boston College winning. Boston College 4-3
