Minnesota loses Robson year early as junior goaltender signs with Wild

The Minnesota Wild has signed free-agent goaltender Mat Robson to a two-year, entry-level contract starting with the 2018-19 season.

Robson, who just completed his junior season at Minnesota, posted a record of 14-12-4 with a 2.78 GAA and a .921 save percentage in 31 games with the Gophers.

He allowed two goals or less in 15 of his 31 starts and led the Big Ten in saves (950), was tied for second in games played and third in wins and save percentage.
