An almost annual occurance at the Beanpot is the battle of cheers and jeers when each teams fans are shown on the Jumbotron. As fans are shown on the big screen the faithful of the school whose sweater each person is wearing cheers while the opposing fans boo. Judging by the reactions, you’d think there are more BU fans than BC, but that’s tough to tell as my seat in the press box is much closer to the BU student fans than those from BC.
Oh, and Matt Gilroy was just robbed on a one-timer by Schneider as BU still leads, 1-0 with 2:41 to play in the frame.
