BU boots Glass from team, citing ‘whole bunch of things’

According to a blog post by the Daily Free Press, Boston University has dismissed junior forward Andrew Glass from the team.

BU coach Jack Parker suspended Glass indefinitely prior to last weekend’s Shillelagh Tournament for what the paper reported as “missing meetings and being late.”

After Friday’s practice, Parker added that “it’s a whole bunch of things” when asked if this is a similar situation to the one that caused him to bench Glass for last year’s season opener. At the time, Parker said Glass “broke team rules.”

Glass, a seventh-round pick of the Washington Capitals in 2008, had two goals and an assist in 15 games as a freshman on the 2008-2009 national title team, followed that up with just two points as a sophomore, but was having a better junior year with two goals and three assists in 15 games this season.
