Bowdoin women’s assistant Lorms crashes SUV, arrested on drunk driving charge

Bowdoin women’s assistant coach Holly Lorms was arrested Sunday night and charged with operating under the influence after allegedly crashing her SUV into a campus building, according to a report in the Forecaster.

Lorms reportedly drove her 1999 Lexus over a light pole and crashed into Stanley F. Druckenmiller Hall.

Bowdoin spokesman Doug Cook told the Forecaster he could not discuss the incident due to it being “a confidential personnel matter.”

Lorms was released on $500 bail early Monday morning and has an April 2 court date scheduled.
