D-III women’s poll has few changes, Plattsburgh still top-ranked team

Plattsburgh remains the top-ranked team in the USCHO.com Division III Women’s Poll this week after tying and beating Utica and then garnering 10 of 15 first-place votes.

Second-ranked Gustavus Adolphus swept Hamline and had the other five first-place votes to stay No. 2.

Elmira is again No. 3 after beating Stevenson on Saturday night and Norwich stays fourth with wins over Southern Maine and Plymouth State.

Wisconsin-River Falls moves up one to No. 5 after sweeping Marian, Middlebury drops one to the sixth spot after a split with Connecticut College and Lake Forest swept Finlandia and rises two spots to No. 7.

Bowdoin lost both games last weekend to Trinity and falls one place to No. 8, while Adrian, who swept Concordia (Wis.), is up one to No. 9.

Wisconsin-Superior falls two spots to No. 10 after splitting with St. Norbert.

The USCHO.com Division III Women’s Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 15 voters, all coaches of Division III programs.
