NCAA releases Feb. 12 Division III men’s regional rankings

The NCAA has released the first of three weekly Division III men’s hockey regional rankings, with updates to be published on Feb. 19 and Feb. 26.

A similar process will be followed on selection Sunday, March 3, to determine seeding and at-large berths but those results will not be published.

Utica, though voted no higher than seventh in this season’s USCHO.com poll, tops the seeding in the east region, followed by poll No. 1 Norwich, Oswego, Hobart and Bowdoin. NCHA regular-season champion Wisconsin-Eau Claire leads with west region, followed by St. Norbert, Adrian, Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Wisconsin-River Falls.

The complete list of rankings includes 16 teams from the east region and 8 teams from the west region.

USCHO.com’s Pairwise Comparisons for the east region, west region and nationally provide a look behind the numbers.
