Yale’s Hayden suspended one game by ECAC Hockey

ECAC Hockey announced Saturday that Yale sophomore forward John Hayden has been assessed a one-game suspension as the result of his actions in the Bulldogs-Union game last night at Messa Rink.

The suspension is based on Hayden’s actions of making contact to the head of a Union player during the third period of Friday’s game.

Hayden is not eligible to compete in Yale’s next game tonight when Yale travels to Rensselaer.

  1. I’m outraged that no refs called a penalty on that play and yet there were two refs standing right near it when it transpired. ECAC needs to start taking a good look at their officiating crew.
