Harvard tabs Union’s Keady, Princeton’s Mirasolo as new women’s assistant coaches

Former Princeton assistant Lee-J Mirasolo and former Union assistant Liz Keady have been named assistant coaches for the Harvard women’s team.

“Both of these young women bring a strong knowledge of the game and an intense energy that will serve all of us well,” said Harvard head coach Katey Stone in a statement.

Mirasolo just finished a four-year stint at Princeton, while Keady arrives at Harvard after her first year at Union during the 2014-15 season.

“Lee-J has great enthusiasm and a passion for teaching the game and she has committed herself to the coaching profession and the development of each student-athlete,” added Stone. “Liz comes to Harvard after a terrific playing career at Princeton and the U.S. National Team. She will be a great asset to our players at Harvard and those seeking to continue their playing careers on the international stage.”

Mirasolo also skated at Boston College during her playing days.
