Union adds former Hamilton assistant Horn, Greenwald to staff

Union has added two staffers for the upcoming 2015-16 season as Kris Horn will serve as a volunteer assistant coach and Ian Greenwald has been hired as the hockey operations coordinator.

Horn spent last season as an assistant coach at Hamilton and prior to joining the Continentals, was as an assistant coach for ACHA teams at Oakland University, Massachusetts and Michigan State.

Greenwald joins the Dutchmen after serving as director of hockey operations and video coordinator for the ECHL’s Utah Grizzlies. He spent three seasons with the Grizzlies, earning a promotion from assistant to director, and oversaw video breakdown and hockey administration for the team. As a student at Michigan, Greenwald spent four years assisting the hockey team and earned a B.A. in sports management from Michigan in 2012.
