ECAC Hockey on Saturday announced that Colgate freshman forward Jared Cockrell has been assessed a one-game suspension as the result of his actions in the Colgate-Maine contest on Friday, Oct. 28.
The league action was taken after review of an incident that occurred during overtime, a period where no penalties were assessed.
Cockrell is not eligible to compete in Colgate’s next game on Saturday, Oct. 29 when the Raiders host Maine.
