Weekend wrap: Oct. 30

Utica at No. 1 Plattsburgh
The defending champions started out strong with two goals and an assist from Melissa Sheeran and two goals from Courtney Moriarty en route to a 5-0 win.

Bulldog Bowl (Friday)

Stevenson vs. No. 2 Adrian
Kelly O’Sullivan led the Bulldogs with two goals and two assists in the season-opening tournament they’re hosting. Kate Turner made 12 saves for Adrian in the 6-0 win.

No. 4 Wisconsin-River Falls vs No. 3 Norwich
The teams scored once each in each period, but could not determine a winner in a 3-3 tie. Bryn Labbe opened the scoring for Norwich on a power play, but Wis.-River Falls’ Callie Hoff answered. Carly Moran gave Wis.-River Falls the lead with her own power-play goal to take the lead, but Amanda Conway scored twice for Norwich to give them the 3-2 lead. Kora Torkelson scored with less than three to go in the game to earn the tie for Wis.-River Falls.

Bulldog Bowl (Saturday)

No. 4 Wisconsin-River Falls vs. No. 2 Adrian
Jacqueline White, Olivia Fox, and Rose Krasofsky scored for Adrian to give them a 3-0 win.

Stevenson vs. No. 3 Norwich
Seven different players tallied goals for the Cadets as they cruised to a 7-0 win.

No. 10 St. Thomas at No. 8 Lake Forest
Caroline Campbell’s first-period goal had Lake Forest ahead into the third period, but Maddy Fiedler scored twice to help St. Thomas take a 3-2 win on Saturday. Anna Williams put the Tommies on the board first before Amy Budde tied it up for Lake Forest. Allison Borgstrom scored on the power play to give St. Thomas the 2-1 lead they’d hold for the rest of the game.

Castleton vs Oswego
Emma Morisette scored in the first and Eryn Stewart scored in the second to give Oswego a 2-0 lead heading into the third period. Ali Stevens and Nicolle Trivino scored for Castleton to tie it up and force overtime, but Kate Randazzo scored an unassisted goal with 39 seconds left in the extra period to earn the win for Oswego.
