Video: Omaha fans go wild at Frozen Fest

BOSTON — It’s a gray, rainy, chilly day outside TD Garden, where Frozen Fest is taking place before the Frozen Four semifinals.

That didn’t stop Omaha fans, many of whom arrived on three buses after a nearly-1,500-mile trip from campus, from making some noise.

    • Lost a lot of good players to graduation or early departures. Ido not think the league will be as competitive nationally as it has been the last 4-5 or years. Happy to see my Dutchmen off to a good start and cracked the top 20 in the polls today.

  1. No report on the Colgate-Maine series? Maine is a good HE team, and this was one of the first showings for this league in the new Class of ’65 Arena in Hamilton. Colgate had 3 points on the weekend with a win and tie against a very strong Bears team.

    • That might be a good thing for HEA. If any team other than Northeastern or Providence wins tourney, good possibility you will get 3 in Regionals. That is if those two remain in PWR top 14, and don’t lose in first round of HEA tournament.

      • That is the key, though. PWR. Of the HEA teams playing this weekend, only BU walked away with at least 2 pts. PC had the best chance to make a move and only managed a single pt at UVM. With PC and NU currently hanging on to a bubble seat in PWR, the 3 teams within striking distance are BU, BC, and UML. In terms of SOS remaining of the 3, UML has the best opportunity to move up with 2 vs PC and one vs BC. BC would be second and BU with the lowest remaining SOS. Gonna be interesting. UML has to get by the ultimate trap game in AIC on Tuesday, a meer few days before they play at BC. The only caveat is they have the Beanpot.
