Atlantic Hockey hands down one-game suspension to Army West Point’s McGuire

Army West Point senior forward Brendan McGuire has been suspended one game through the Atlantic Hockey supplemental discipline policy. The league reviewed McGuire’s major penalty for checking from behind on Oct. 21 against Robert Morris, which also carried a game misconduct. After reviewing the replay, the officials’ report, and discussing the play with the referees at Saturday’s game, it was determined that the action warranted further punishment, bringing along the additional game suspension.McGuire will be unable to play in Army’s next game, which is Friday, Oct. 27, against RIT.
