The Nashville Predators announced Wednesday that the team has signed Boston University junior defenseman Dante Fabbro to a three-year, entry-level contract.

His point total is tied for 10th among all NCAA defenseman and he is the only collegiate player to record at least 30 points (33) and 80 blocked shots (82) this season.

A co-captain this season, Fabbro posted 80 points (22 goals, 58 assists) in 111 games with the Terriers over three seasons.

Fabbro was originally drafted in the first round (17th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft by Nashville.
