Minnesota-Duluth keeps top spot in men’s poll

Reigning NCAA champion Minnesota-Duluth stays atop the USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll this week after receiving 45 of 50 first-place votes.

Boston University remains No. 2 and garnered the five other first-place votes this week.

Minnesota rises one to No. 3, Notre Dame jumps three spots to No. 4 and Merrimack ascends one to round out the nation’s top five.

Ohio State falls one to No. 6, Boston College drops four to the seventh spot, Michigan is up a pair to No. 8, Cornell remains ninth and Ferris State jumps three to enter the top ten at No. 10.

At No. 11, Massachusetts-Lowell is up three ranks, Colorado College is down one to No. 12, Western Michigan falls five to No. 13, Union is down from 12th to 14th and Denver holds steady at No. 15.

Michigan State is again No. 16, Miami rises three to No. 17, North Dakota falls one spot to No. 18, while Northern Michigan (No. 19) and Maine (No. 20) enter the poll this week after not being ranked a week ago.
