Big Ten slaps Michigan State’s DeBlouw with one-game suspension for incident against Wisconsin

The Big Ten announced Saturday that Michigan State senior forward Matt DeBlouw has been suspended as a result of an incident that occurred against Wisconsin on Feb. 19.

DeBlouw gets the suspension after the conference reviewed the incident that occurred near the 18:52 mark of the second period. No penalty was called on the play and DeBlouw later scored the game-winning goal late in the third period as MSU edged Wisconsin 4-3.

He is ineligible to play Feb. 20 versus Wisconsin.
