Adrian tabs former Princeton director of hockey operations Moore as new assistant coach

Kevin Moore has been hired by the Adrian men’s team as a new assistant coach.

Moore joins the Bulldogs following two years at Princeton. In 2016-17, he was the Tigers’ volunteer goaltender coach and was elevated in 2017-18 to director of hockey operations and analytics.

A 2012 graduate of Massachusetts and a native of the Princeton area, Moore was most recently the goalie coach for the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs organization from 2013 to 2016. He was also a staff member of Goaltending Development Services, which is owned and operated by Pittsburgh Penguins developmental goalie coach Mike Buckley with whom he was co-goalie coach at the University of New Hampshire. He also assisted Dick Umile and the Wildcats in goaltender pre scout and statistical analytics.

A cum laude graduate of UMass with a degree in journalism, Moore is a two-time winner of UMass hockey’s Minuteman Spirit Award for having exemplified dedication, determination, character and sportsmanship.

Following his collegiate career, Moore played professionally for the ECHL’s Evansville Icemen (ECHL).
