Coach Matt Curley joins Ed Trefzger and guest host Dan Rubin to spotlight Alaska Anchorage hockey.

Curley helms a Seawolves program that has struggled for success in the WCHA, but one that the first-year head coach sees a lot to be encouraged about. Curley talks about the aftermath of last week’s earthquake, his path to his first collegiate head coaching position, the evolution of the game, his team this season, what it takes to prepare for a road trip, and what Alaska Anchorage has to offer a prospective student-athlete.

Ed Trefzger has been part of USCHO since 1999 and now serves as a senior writer and director of technology. He is the radio play-by-play voice for Rochester Institute of Technology hockey on the RIT Tigers Sports Network, and has been involved with the broadcasts as a producer, studio host, and color commentator since their inception. He is co-owner and president of broadcasting company Genesee Media, and was general manager of the former Rochester, N.Y., sports radio station 97.5 The Team.
