Longtime Boston University coach Jack Parker will become the first coach to receive the Hockey East Founders Medal this Friday night (March 21) between semifinal games at the TD Garden. The Hockey East Founders Medal was established in 2009 upon the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the conference. The 2013-14 season marks the league’s 30th of existence.
