    • But really nobody behind them are playing well enough to gain ground either. Miami, BC, UND, UNH all struggling at times too. Though UND may be playing the best of them, you may have to go down to UML to find a hot team.

    • Yeah, you’re right. A team with the 2nd best winning percentage in the country, top ranked offense, 4th ranked defense, 2nd ranked power play, and 7th ranked penalty kill all while playing in the country’s toughest conference is a joke as the 2nd overall seed. Great analysis. They’ve struggled recently, but there is no reason why the Gophers don’t deserve that high of a seed.

      • I’m a hardcore Sioux fan but I have to agree with goldy locks here….The gophers played horrible hockey but still have the best team on paper in college hockey.

  1. So you’re complaining about being a 2 seed, when Minnesota is still as close to their school and fan base as possible, all because you think you should be the top overall seed in the tournament? Seems trivial and shouldn’t bother MN fans; you’ll do fine whether you’re a 1 or 16 seed. You always play well this time of year.
