Ohio State’s Healey suspended by Big Ten for upcoming Michigan State series

The Big Ten announced Monday that Ohio State senior defenseman Josh Healey has been suspended for two games as a result of an incident that occurred in the game against Minnesota on Feb. 11.

The action was taken by the conference after a review of an incident that occurred near the 14:34 mark of the second period and resulted in Healey receiving a major penalty for contact to the head and a game misconduct.

Healey is ineligible to play in Ohio State’s next two games Feb. 17-18 against Michigan State.

Healey was previously suspended by the Big Ten on Jan. 30, 2017, and on Nov. 16, 2015.
