No. 2 Denver – swept Arizona State

No. 3 Penn State – split with No. 11 Ohio State

No. 4 Harvard – defeated No. 15 Quinnipiac, defeated Princeton

No. 5 Boston University – defeated No. 10 Union, defeated Massachusetts

No. 6 Massachusetts-Lowell – defeated Renssealer (Jan. 3), defeated New Hampshire

No. 7 North Dakota – swept No. 18 Omaha

No. 8 Boston College – defeated Providence

No. 9 Minnesota – was idle

No. 10 Union – lost to No. 5 Boston University

No. 11 Ohio State – split with No. 2 Penn State

No. 12 Notre Dame – split with Michigan Tech
