Atlantic Hockey suspends Air Force’s Mirageas one game for head contact penalty against Canisius

Air Force sophomore defenseman Zack Mirageas has been issued a one-game suspension by Atlantic Hockey.

Mirageas was whistled for a contact to the head major penalty and given a game misconduct at the 10:51 mark of the third period of Saturday night’s 3-0 loss to Canisius.

Upon reviewing the play, Atlantic Hockey officials determined it warranted an additional game of discipline, according to a news release.

Mirageas will be unavailable for the Falcons on Friday, Feb. 22, for the first of two games at Mercyhurst this weekend.
